Update on the US Science and Engineering Fest


NMLSTA @ US Science & Engineering Fest


Friday, April 15 (10-6) - Sunday April 17th (10-4)

Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Washington, DC


NMLSTA will have a booth at the US Science & Engineering Festival next weekend!  If you, colleagues or even students have a STEM demonstration for middle or high school you would like to exhibit for at least 2 hours, please contact Diana Cost or Kathryn Culbertson by email.  

Please include your name and contact info (school/program, phone, email, best times), a brief description of your demonstration and the date/time you would like to present at the festival.

** Please contact by 6:00 EDT on Tuesday


If you would like to volunteer at the booth, or have students who need service hours, feel free to get in touch as well!

Thank you, Diana Hunn


NMLSTA sadly lost a dear friend on June 3. Dr. Diana Hunn served as treasurer to the organization for many years. She was a lifetime member of NMLSTA and Assistant Professor of Science Education at the University of Dayton where she taught science methods courses.

Science and Engineering Festival

NMLSTA will be attending the 4th Biennial Science Festival will kick off throughout 2014/2015 with nationwide school programs, contests and events year-round, and culminate in a 2-day Grand Finale Expo on April 16-17, 2016 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Over 1,000 leading STEM organizations will present hands-on science and engineering activities for people of all ages. The event is free of charge.
