Member John Mead has recently published Reading the Bones, a young adult nonfiction book subheaded Homo Naledi and the Mysteries of Human Evolution.  In the book Mead and his coauthor Marc Aronson chronical the exciting discovery of the bones of this species and relates them to the story of human evolution.  The book is illustrated with both drawings and photos and is supported by notes and resources.  It takes its readers through the excitement of discovery, the methods of science, and the revisions to our understanding of the evolution of our species and the other hominins with whom our history overlaps.
